Acceptance of Risks
Trading operations with WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd., and the use of our Services, are carried out at your own risk.
The risk of losses when trading or holding Digital Assets can be significant. The volatility of Digital Asset prices is beyond the control of WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd. Any profit or loss resulting from fluctuations in the value of the relevant Digital Asset will be entirely at your own expense and at your own risk. WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd. is not responsible for any losses incurred by you as a result of your own decisions to buy or sell any type of Digital Assets.
Users acknowledge the following risks associated with their use of the Company’s Website and Services:
The risk of losses when trading Digital Assets, electronic money, virtual or digital currencies, or tokens such as Bitcoin or other digital assets can be significant, and losses may occur within a short period of time.
The price and liquidity of Digital Assets have experienced significant fluctuations in the past and may be subject to substantial volatility in the future, including cases where stablecoins lose their stable peg (de-peg). Digital assets may be illiquid or not always transferable.
Except for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), Digital Assets and other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies are not legal tender, are not backed by any government, and accounts or balances are not covered or protected by any insurance or investor protection scheme. There is no recognized compensation scheme providing participants with a mechanism for the recovery of losses.
Legislative and regulatory changes or actions at the national, regional, or international level may adversely affect the use, transfer, exchange, and value of Digital Assets and other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies.
Investments in digital assets may be complex and difficult to understand.
Digital Assets may be stolen as a result of cyberattacks (hacking, phishing, malware).
Trading in digital assets is subject to the influence of irrational market factors.
Transactions involving Digital Assets and other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies may be irreversible, and therefore, losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions cannot be recovered. Transactions may be anonymous (pseudonymous), publicly recorded and settled on distributed ledgers; errors and “accidental transactions” may be irreversible. Mechanisms for recovering access or returning lost or stolen digital assets are limited or non-existent.
Certain transactions involving Digital Assets and other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies are considered completed on the date the transaction is recorded in the public ledger, even if this differs from the date or time the User initiated the transaction.
The value of Digital Assets and other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies depends on the continuous willingness of market participants to exchange fiat currency for Digital Assets or other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies. This may result in possible permanent and total loss of value of certain Digital Assets and other electronic money, virtual or digital currencies in the event that the market for such assets disappears.
Technical and operational difficulties experienced by WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd. may prevent access to or the use of the User’s Digital Assets.
Participation in digital assets is not comparable to investing in traditional instruments, such as securities.
Any User Account or Company Wallet held on your behalf may be insufficient to cover all losses incurred by Users.
By using the website of WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd. and by entering into the User agreement,Terms of Use, the User fully understands and was made aware of the inherent and potential risks associated with an investment in any products or services provided by WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd., including, but not limited to, the risk of total loss of the User’s funds and investments, or delays in payments or realization of gains, associated with the provision of services by WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd., operating in a testing regulatory regime (“FinTech Lab”).
I acknowledge the potential risks involved foreseen or otherwise, AND HEREBY UNEQUIVOCALLY AND IRREVOCABLY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, WAIVE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS ASTANA FINANCIAL SERVICES AUTHORITY AND ITS OFFICERS, and the respective successors and assigns of all of the foregoing from any and all claims, liabilities, legal action for damages, losses, costs directly or indirectly arising out of or otherwise relating in any respect whatsoever to activities, services or products provided by WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd.
The User may sue WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd. for all claims, liabilities, legal action for damages, losses, costs arising out of or otherwise relating in any respect whatsoever to activities, services or products provided by WhiteBIT Kazakhstan Ltd.
